ELIF GONEN Photographer & Director
Elif Gönen is a London-based Turkish filmmaker and multidisciplinary visual artist working across directing, editing, and camera departments. Credits include Deb Never's Someone Else (2021), Lava La Rue's Magpie (Nia Archives Remix) (2021), and Birth of Venus (2018), spanning roles from director to cinematographer and editor. She also directed Please Be Happy, a short documentary made with No Chiefs exploring parenthood and queerness across three families. Editorial work includes Rolling Stone, the British Film Institute, Fred Perry, and Nike.

Her practice blends documentary sensibility with experimental visual storytelling, exploring identity and social change across directing, editing, photography, and sound.
